A farm attack took place on 12 December 2022, at 01:00, on the Lustigan Road in Paarl in the Western Cape province of South Africa. The resident (61) saw his garden gate open and went to investigate.
As he went out he was violently assaulted by an attacker who assaulted him with a spade.
The man suffered serious injuries to his head and body.
After the alarm was raised Drakenstein Farm Watch (DFW) and Fidelity ADT rural reaction teams responded. Paarl K9, Paarl police and Ambulance all attended the scene.
Around the same time, another farm close by, was also visited and endured serious damage to security infra structure.
The man was attended to and the police are investigating but there have been no arrets.
