On Monday 16 January 2023 at about 08:00 the police at Kopanong in the Mangaung Metro received a complaint of double murder at a house in Turflaagte Township.
The patrol vehicle was dispatched to attend, and on arrival, the police discovered the lifeless bodies of two African males lying in different bedrooms of the four-room house.
Both bodies had multiple stab wounds.
The victims were identified as 20-year-old Moeketsi Van Breda and the 25-year-old Gosiame Makhanya.
