Anatolian Shepherd pups and sheep stolen from a Humansdorp farm

Jeffreys Bay Stock Theft and Endangered Species Unit is seeking the communities’ assistance in tracing two pups and some sheep that were stolen from a farm in Humansdorp between 15 and 19 February 2023.

It is alleged that on 15 February, the farmer left the two Anatolian Shepherd pups who are 2-month-old with sheep in a kraal on his farm – Seekoei Rivier Farm.

The kraal is about 2/3 km’s from his house.

When he returned on 19 February, he found that the pups and some sheep were missing.

The pups’ faces are dark grey/black with a white spot on their noses.

Their bodies are either brown or beige.

Anyone who can assist in tracing these animals or may know the whereabouts of the pups is asked to contact the Jeffreys Bay Stock Theft and Endangered Species Unit, D/W/O Freek Jaftha on 072 720 1184 or 042 200 7020 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111 or the nearest police station.

All information is confidential and callers may remain anonymous.
