Within hours of my departure from OR Thambo Airport in Johannesburg huge falls of rain blanketed much of South Africa – including the beautiful Drakensberg where I once had a farm.

Not only torrential rain but arson of the beautiful Cape Dutch style Free State premier’s building and a Safair plane with engine problems . It doesn’t just rain , it pours !
