Four suspects aged between 35 and 49 have been arrested for possession of suspected stolen livestock in Zamdela.
On Wednesday, 17 May 2023 at about 23:19, the Fezile Dabi Highway Patrol received information about a white Nissan bakkie driving on the R57 from Heilbron towards Zamdela involved in copper theft.
The team swiftly went to R57 and managed to stop said the vehicle.
The vehicle had four male occupants’ and at the back of the bakkie there were 16 sheeps.
The suspects failed to produce any identification for the livestock.
The four suspects, from Sebokeng in the Gauteng Province, were arrested for possession of suspected stolen livestock and will appear before the Sasolburg Magistrate Court on Friday, 19 May 2023.
