The police in the Free State are seeking assistance in tracing and locating four suspects allegedly involved in two business robberies in Kroonstad and Parys.
The first incident took place on Thursday, 8 June 2023 at about 09:10.
It is alleged that four suspects armed with firearms gained entry into the store; two suspects went into the office and demanded safe keys, while the remaining two demanded keys where cellphones are kept.
Cash and cellphones worth an undisclosed amount were taken, and the suspects fled the scene in an unknown getaway car.
In the second incident that took place today 9 June 2023 at about 09:20 at a store in Parys.
Three men allegedly entered the store posing as customers at a retail store in Parys. One approached the store manager and demanded safe keys, while the other two demanded keys to open the cabinet where cellphones are kept.
An undisclosed amount of money and cellphones were also taken. The three suspects fled the scene in a getaway car.
It is believed that the same suspects were involved in the two robberies.
