A 40-year-old suspect was nabbed for possession and dealing in illicit drugs on Saturday 09 September 2023 in Polokwane.
The arrest was effected through the disruptive operation by members of the Provincial Organised Unit. The team pounced on the suspect at Bendor Park while inside a parked motor vehicle, following a tip-off from members of the community. Kat drugs with the estimated street value of R60-000 were seized as well as the motor vehicle.
The Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has thanked the community for responding to the call of playing their role in the fight against drug related crimes in the Province.
The suspect is expected to appear before the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court on Monday 11 September 2023 on charges of possession and dealing in drugs.
