Secondary collision reported as emergency services attended to a scene on the R61 in Shelly Beach

Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service responded to the R61 in Shelly Beach for reports of a pedestrian collision.

When emergency services arrived they found that a patient had sustained a gunshot wound.

While emergency services were busy on scene a vehicle lost control and collided into the barrier near the emergency services.

Thankfully no one’s was injured in the collision.

We urge motorists to please, reduce your speed and increase your following distance when approaching accident scenes.
