  1. Varke en slange. Skelms is what I call them. My parents bought two beautiful Jersey cows at a sale on a farm near George. When the truck arrived at our farm with the two cows, one cow was the right one, but the other was definitely not the cow my parents had bid on. It was nowhere near as good as the cow my parents had bought. So some Skelm, vark or slang had swapped one of our good cows for a more inferior one. Needless to say my parents never got the cow they bought back. The skelm won !!
