This after a disturbing ordeal in which they were kidnapped, assaulted, robbed and threatened by fake police officers in Mpumalanga for four hours. Sean Stephens (50), his children, Trinity (18) and Kai (15), his mother and her friend were kidnapped Saturday night and taken to several instant banks and forced to withdraw cash from their bank accounts. The man’s father, Chuck Stephens, told News24 the group was driving in a rented Toyota Fortuner in Nelspruit city centre, heading westbound along the Samora Machel road, when they were struck by a car with blue lights. “Sean was asked for his documents. Within seconds other men with guns appeared at the other doors. “He says his son and family were driven to instant banks around Kamagugu, Clau Clau and Masoyi. He says the men threatened to rape the daughter if her father refused to cooperate. They were not only robbed of money from the ATMs, but also cash from them and their cell phones. Sean was hit in the head with a gun and has a bruise above his left eye.
