United Independent Movement (UIM) President Neil de Beer says President Cyril Ramaphosa, the newly re-elected president of African National Conference (ANC), is the captain of South Africa’s Titanic.

SOUTH AFRICANS MUST DRAW A LINE IN THE SAND AND SAVE THE COUNTRY

De Beer, a former ANC loyalist, says South Africans must draw a line in the sand in 2024 to save the country, self-destruct, or face unstoppable economic genocide under the ANC.

“One can only growl at the circus, the charade masked as an ANC conference and the re-election of the same captain Cyril of South Africa’s own Titanic.”

    Neil de Beer

He said the 55 ANC’s National Elective Conference in Nasrec showed a picture of ill-disciplined cadres and huge rifts within the ANC.

ANC IS A TRUE REVELATION OF DOG EATS DOG

“The ANC was once under Nelson Mandela, a disciplined organisation, now it is a true revelation of greed, factionalism, and indeed dog eats dog,” says De Beer.

“There is no attempt from Cyril and his ANC cabal, not the slightest plan to buffer the failure of Eskom and the still economic atom bomb Covid: only absolute silence,” says De Beer.

He added that the only sound South Africans now hear is the rhetoric of load shedding, state capture, and now the recent Phala Phala.

RAMAPHOSA CABINET RESHUFFLE OF OLD HORSES

De Beer says Ramaphosa’s reshuffling of his ANC cabinet will be a reshuffling of old horses to the top stable.

“Cyril, now taking the lead after a dismal performance during his first reign, has a giant race to run, seemingly with only reshuffling of old horses to the top stable.

“With the SOE’s brokenness, a massive demoralizing power failure, foreign direct investment shattering, and a country tired and hopeless, this leadership has one of the most difficult mountains to climb.”

    De Beer added.

ANC DROPPED THE BATON THIS PAST 28 YEARS

The ANC and Ramaphosa have dropped the baton this past 28 years as it’s out to self-destruct and hugely elect the same leadership, naively praying for a different outcome, according to De Beer.

This was the first ANC conference De Beer did not attend since departing from the ANC two years ago.

However, he said 2022 Nasrec proved him right, “that we, the average Joe, fight on, to earn our daily bread, the absence of a state, a government to bail out the entrepreneur or small business”.

RAMAPHOSA’S FAILURE IS AS APPARENT AS THE KIMBERLEY HOLE

“It is as apparent as the Kimberley hole.

“What South Africa now needs is not a nation in tatters but hope that change on many fronts will come,” de Beer said.
