A farm attack took place on Sunday 5 March 2023, at 03:00, on the farm Sukses, in Kameel, near Stella in the North West province of South Africa.
Five attackers overpowered, assaulted and tied up the elderly man (87) and his son (57).
The attackers then ransacked the home and stole a number of household items, including a revolver and ammunition and cell phones.
All the robbed goods were loaded into the victims white Isuzu bakkie with registration KHL 450 NW and the attackers fled.
The victims then sought help from a neighbouring farm and shortly after the alarm was raised the elderly man passed away.
The cause of death still needs to be confirmed but at this stage it is presumed that he may have suffered a heart attack from the shock and trauma of the attack.
Police are investigating but there have been no arrets.
