Oh hell no… still the gesanik about the old flag…Look, for me it’s easy. Crossing the Lapkettie which is now passing as a flag, with Nkosi bla bla bla, has nothing to blow out with me. Not because I am an apartheid apologist, not because I don’t want peace and definitely not that I want the old dispensation back. My reasons are logical and relevant, and to hell with the painbags in my life.The flag is the picture of white oppression in cheerful colors because the Transvaal Four-color is pierced with the black arrow of Mklonte Wants Switzerland and marginalizes the white lane into one bonzai stripe. So nation building was from meet down a clug for which only the largest gross of the whites fell.Nkosi bla bla bla is a flamboyant piece of rubbish that waters down the beauty and reverence of The Voice to sticker level and it irks me to no end. So I helped both very quickly to ’94, to the trash where it belongs.Do I want to wave the old flag and sing The Voice? Absolutely! But when the opportunity presents itself at a cultural-historical gathering or at a Steve Hofmeyr kick-off, because it is part of my history that I refuse to deny.I’ve always believed that had we gone the route of Namibia and designed something decent, having no setbacks to the past, I would have bought into the new symbols very easily. But this victim, Jannie jammerg@t genuk, really has nothing to say with me.The Afrikarens and Kruiperkaners’ magic is going to wash over my views and stuff again. It’s largely this lot of dirt driving hate speech legislation to shut our mouths, because they sacrifice their soul and spine on the altar of the proglib rubbish to try and strengthen their moral display.So I support the appeal against the flag as a hate speech verdict from the court, which clearly erred with their one-eyed view, because the new Lapkettie is the depiction of hate speech and it should rather be banned.Yep, 27 years after diemocracy, we are still struggling to master basic principles, yet we wonder why we got trashed in this mud mess..
