ModeratorBP001.VIKING BOER- BIBLE PROPHECIES – WHAT IS THE PRE-TRIBULATION RAPTURE (Jack Hibbs)
BY JACK HIBBS
Why There Must be a Pre-Tribulation Rapture of The ChurchThe timing of the rapture in relation to the tribulation is one of the most controversial issues in the church today. The three primary views are pre-tribulational (the rapture occurs before the tribulation), mid-tribulational (the rapture occurs at or near the mid-point of the tribulation), and post-tribulational (the rapture occurs at the end of the tribulation). Pastor Jack Hibbs examines scripture and makes a case for the pre-tribulation rapture position of the church.
BIBLE VERSES:
1Th4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
1Th4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
1Th4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
1Th4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1Th4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1Th4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.1Th1:10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
John14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
John14:2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
John14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.Rev4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
Jude1:24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
Jude1:25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.Rev3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
Heb9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many, and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
Luke21:36 Watch ye, therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
Col3:4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
1Cor15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
1Cor15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.1Th5:1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
1Th5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
1Th5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
1Th5:4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
1Th5:5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
1Th5:6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
1Th5:7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
1Th5:8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for a helmet, the hope of salvation.
1Th5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,*****************************************
Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious
appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
AMEN.
