Sad reminder today.

I got this piece today and think it is so fitting.
Good luck today aunt Mart and Bea you will always be in my days.
When others got tired, He was the courageous driving force
When others wanted to stumble, he directed
When others were despondent he was the inspiration
When others wanted to give up, determination brought strength
When the road seemed closed, He opened up unprecedented horizons
When the battle seemed lost, his vision indicated new forefathers
For him we thank the LORD
His rock solid faith in his Creator was an example to us
His strong principles, determination and fine planning has created trust
His calls awareness and steady leadership gave certainty
His unreserved self-sacrifice has left us embarrassed
His humanity has humbled us
To his friends and comrades, his heartfelt love for his country and his people was an encouragement
To his enemies and critics, his clear thinking and pure logic was a great problem
Nobody stood indifferent or neutral towards him
He was a son of the field who had to build an ark
He was the child of true Afrikaner nationalism
He was a man of God, Man of the People, Patriot
He was the farmer boy with a calling.
