WATCH AS THE EFF WAS KICKED OUT OF THE VENUE ON FRIDAY
The party’s MPLs disrupted Premier Nomusa Dube-Ncube‘s State of the Province Address (Sopa).
The MPLs were forcefully removed from the venue where the Sopa was being delivered at Pietermaritzburg’s Oval Cricket Stadium.
THE EFF REFUSED TO BE ADDRESSED BY A ‘LIAR’
It is believed they refused to be addressed by Dube- Ncube, whom the red beret claimed is a “liar”.
According to reports, the EFF KZN chairperson Mongezi Twala interrupted the premier’s speech on Friday, saying she lied to the National Assembly last week when she told the House President Cyril Ramaphosa had committed R1 billion for flood victims.
He furthermore said the monies had not yet come, and people in KZN were still reeling from the flooding in April 2022.
NO SIGN OF HTE R1 BILLION PROMISED FOR FLOOD VICTIMS IN KZN
“She lied under oath, so today, we cannot be addressed by a liar. Our people are still wondering around, they are still languishing in halls.
“But this member goes there and lies, and we cannot be addressed by a liar. Who said she must go there and lie representing this House? We must suspend this session and get someone honourable to address this House, not Nomusa Dube.”

PEOPLE IN KZN STILL REELING FROM THE FLOODS IN APRIL 2022
The conduct of the EFF MPLs in the KZN Legislature where similar to those of their EFF counterparts in the National Assembly, who have developed a reputation for disrupting Ramaphosa’s State of the Province Address (Sopa).
