Historic town of Kuruman part of the first One Small Town project in the world
Michael Tellinger’s One Small Town concept has its first municipality – the John Taolo Gaetsewe District Municipality – particpating in its revolutionary concept which empowers the residents not big business.
The municipality inclludes the town of Kuruman where missionary Robert Moffat established the Kuruman Mission in the 1820s.

Hotazel I remember very well. On my trip to the Kalahari Gemsbok National Park I remember playing postman between camps.
