Would you trust a man who sleeps with his best friend’s wife? Meet John Steenhuisen leader of the DA
- 2021-10-30 - Would you trust a man who sleeps with his best friend's wife? Meet John Steenhuisen leader of the DA
John Steenhuisen was previously married to Julie Steenhuisen (née Wright) for a decade. She was also from Durban. In October 2010, they announced their divorce. At the time, there were public revelations that John was having an affair with Terry Kass Beaumont. Kass was the DA’s provincial spokesperson and married to Michael Beaumont.
The affair destroyed both families.
Would you really TRUST John Steenhuisen – leader of the Democratic Alliance considering their very large financial support provided by George Soros through the Open Society Foundation?

The DA will send us into a “nanny” police state. There are so many reasons why they cannot be trusted…
I saw an interview today that has turned me off the CIP. “would happily” work with EFF if they came around. Does Jack not understand the EFF? Very disappointed.

Operative word by Jack is highly UNLIKELY … just like me falling pregnant I would suggest.
@ Loving Life:
Then why the rest of the sentence? Perhaps you can ask him to comment and clarify.
@ Viv:
For me it is about core values.

The DA has done nothing for the Cape.
Look at all the homeless people of all races in the Cape.
Look at how p;eople are treated at hospitals in the Cape.
Look at how the metro police treat civilians like confiscating the meager belongings of homeless people and haressing the elderly and women in the Cape .
Look at the crime rate in the Cape
Look at the huge 800 percent tariff increase of water when there was a so called shortage and now that the dams are full they have not reversed these
charges in the Cape.
Look at their stance about the mandatory vaccine in the Cape.
Look at how the governmental institutions are run (or should I say not run) in the Cape.
Look how 5g towers appeared during the 1st lockdown in the Cape
Look at how surveillance cameras appeared all over during the 1st lockdown in the Cape.
Look at how most shopping centres were fenced in during the 1st lockdown in the Cape.
Look at how the elderly are treated in state run old aged home in the Cape.
And so it goes on and on…….and you still want to trust them and vote for them???????????????????????????????????????
@ Jaguar:
Look at how many homes they brick up every month when people cannot afford their huge increase in rates.
Look at how they will steal their “rates” from your pay as you go electricity meter but do not even show that on their rates bill.
Look at how they called the army in at the start of lockdown to “control crime”
Look at how they lie when they owe a rebate in over-inflated valuations, as they did before the soccer world cup, then say you must pay first before they will refund you.
Look at how many people have lost their homes under the DA
Look at how they hide this by calling the buildings abandoned.
They are SCUM! They cannot be trusted. There are many more examples!
@ Jaguar
The DA were running a feeding program at the start of lockdown which I supported by making food for delivery. My last batch of food made was never collected because they had given those poor households some sort of stove alternative thing instead.
Who can eat a stove when there is no money to buy food???
They chop down trees to “save water” which increases the temperature by 5%.
They are not the clever dicks that they pay their marketing pricks to promote them for.
Yes. Seriously cross that I was conned by them.

…and now the video has been removed…
Sadly he sounds like many politicians who will work with any group or person if it increases their own power or prestige…
@ Viv:
Look at some of the previous videos even on the Daily Inspiration video that person posted her spam,
I already warned her 4 times on various videos comments.

While I can’t comment much on your undoubtedly essentially valid assertions, Jaguar, I do know that the ANC was at pains to interfere with the DA’s running of the Western Cape, essentially because it resented the DA’s successes and regarded the province as a thorn in its flesh. This interference included but was not limited to
(1) transferring budgeted funds, intended for W/Cape or Cape Town housing, to be used elsewhere, which it did just before the DA took control and found that the funds were no longer available;
(2) bussing in troublemakers that obstructed roads; and
(3) denigrating the DA whenever it recognised a problem: one I know about involved its provision of a higher number of public toilets in some area/s, than were originally planned, provided that the community erected the building/s around the toilets, which it undertook but failed to do; the ANC attacked the DA because toilets were used before being enclosed, apparently blissfully unaware that it had done the same thing with the same result in an area under its control, possibly in Gauteng, certainly somewhere in the former Transvaal.
Then it is to be borne in mind that Central Government had responsibilities in the Western Cape, but was less than co-operative with the DA in that regard. I recall several issues involving the SAPS, and the state run homes for the aged to which you referred may be another example.
It’s a pity that the DA has to some extent disgraced itself and will undoubtedly have suffered in the elections of November 1.
