A farm attack took place on 23 December 2022, at 08:00, on the farm Blombos in Elandsdoorn, near Groblersdal in the Limpopo province of South Africa. Lorraine Prinsloo (55) was severely injured by a panga wielding attacker.
The attack happened after an alarm at a second house on the farm was activated and Lorraine’s husband Mike had gone to investigate.
Lorraine was left at home and was continuing with daily chores when she was overpowered in the farmhouse and severely assaulted with a panga by the attacker.
She was in a fight for her life and only managed to eventually save herself by fleeing into the bedroom and locking the door. She then called for help.
Mike was met with a horrible scene when he arrived home.
Lorraine suffered severe head wounds and cuts to her arms and hands as she had attempted to protect herself.
The attacker had already fled the scene.
Lorraine was fortunate that no major arteries were severed and survived the attempted murder.
Mike raised the alarm and farmers along with WIPS Security (Wildlife Investigation & Protections Services) responded and a follow up operation was launched.
Lorraine was admitted to a hospital in Groblersdal.
The farmers tracked down the suspect and arrested him along the Canal road an hour later.
The police are investigating the attack and attempted murder.

Will this 51 year old lady want to live on that farm again ? I doubt it. So the ANC and the EFF are achieving their goal. Sadly South Africa is CACTUS.
