Relentless efforts by SAPS Keiskammahoek detectives in tracking and tracing a double murder suspect paid off when the 34-year-old male was arrested on 5 March 2023, in the Gwili Gwil locality.
It is alleged that on 4 March 2023 at about 06:00, the son of an elderly 74-year-old woman arrived home and could not find his mother and his 19-year-old sister.
He immediately alerted police and a search was conducted in the area for the missing women.
They were found tied with a rope and murdered.
