SAPS members good team work and swift response across provincial borders lead to the recovery of a vehicle stolen in the Free State at Palmietfontein policing precinct.
On 3 April 2023 at about 19:00 members of Palmietfontein received information from Bloemfontein SAPS about a stolen motor vehicle from Park Road.
The vehicle was chased by Zastron SAPS members and assisted by SAPS Palmietfontein and was stopped at eHlatini locality, Macacuma admin area.
A 40-year-old suspect was arrested for the possession of a suspected stolen vehicle and a silver grey Honda vehicle was recovered.
The District Commissioner Maj Genl Lindelwa Vellem welcomed the arrests and recovery and commended the members on the good co-operation across provincial borders as criminals must not think that they can come and hide our policing area.
