Three suspects; two males aged 24 and 32 as well as 34-year-old female were arrested by a team of security officers and the police on Saturday, 8 April 2023.
The Bloemfontein Flying Squad patrol vehicle received a complaint through security response team of a house robbery that occurred in Dan Pienaar Drive, Bloemfontein at about 03:08.
The police rushed the scene and arrived with other Security Companies reaction teams; Bloemsec, Fidelity, ADT, ProForce and ITR.
The first suspect was already apprehended, and the team started the search for the other two who had initially fled the scene. The team managed to trace and arrest the other suspects at White Flats in Brandwag.
All the suspects were positively identified by the complainant and his partner.
The team also managed to recover stolen goods and seize an airgun used by the suspects.
A house robbery docket was opened at Parkweg Police Station.
The three suspects were detained in police custody and will appear in Bloemfontein Magistrate Court soon.
