A farm murder took place on 1 June 2023, at 19:15, in Cookhouse in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa.
Police reported that two unknown attackers, armed with firearms, entered the farm premises.
The victim, the farm manager, was held at gunpoint in his home.
The attackers demanded the vehicle keys and cell phones.
One of the attackers then shot and killed the farm manager and they then fled the scene in the farm’s Toyota Club Cab with registration number CAA 455 746.
During follow up operations one attacker (38) was arrested on the morning of 2 June 2023 in Bedford.
The 38-year-old suspect is due to appear in court soon.
