The Johannesburg water authority have gone public on a looming humanitarian crisis saying that their ability to provide clean water is already running at 100% and at a state of collapse.

Still awaiting the onslaught. A day here and there can be dealt with, but days without clean water?? Sometimes no water at all. After a day problems with flushing toilets, washing machine does not operate, even though one has a filter to filter out the toxins and rubbish in the water, if there is no water in the taps, that too, does not work. 5 litres water costs R30, some places R35. How far does 5 litres per person takes you?
