SAPS Bethelsdorp detectives are investigating a double murder following the death of a couple on Thursday, 28 September 2023 at a house in Barends Street in Salt Lake.
It is alleged that at about 12:00, police were alerted to the murders at the mentioned address. According to police information, it is alleged that the married couple were embroiled in a physical altercation prior to their deaths. They resided at the back of the house belonging to the parents of the deceased male. Both deceased sustained multiple stab wounds. They were identified as Jason Bruintjies (29) and Anneline Bruintjies (28).
A case of a double murder is under investigation.
