On Thursday, 19 oCtober 2023 at about 21:00 Mothibistad members received information of a vehicle that was allegedly stealing goats at Deurward Village and was enroute to Mothibistad.
Members under the Command of Captain Nomvuyo Makoloi were activated and the identified vehicle was stopped at the Seodin Crossing with the assistance of the community.
Two male suspects aged 38 and 42 were arrested and charged for possession of suspected stolen livestock.
The suspects will be appear in court soon.
The owner of the livestock arrived and identified the livestock as his.
The JTG District Commissioner, Major General Keagekae Besnaar applauded the members for their swift response and their relentless efforts in combating crime.
