The police seek public assistance in a case of murder after the decomposed body of an unknown male person was found in a dam on Thursday, 30 November 2023 at Ficksburg Golf Club.
The police received a complaint from the community about a suspicious white plastic bag in the small dam at Ficksburg Golf club. Upon arrival of police they found the said white plastic bag floating inside the dam. Upon closer inspection the body of an unknown male person was discovered. The deceased was wearing a green t- shirt, blue pair of jeans and a pair of white tekkies. Police also found a brick inside the same plastic bag. The deceased is estimated to be between the ages of 15 and 25 years old and is unknown. A case of murder is being investigated.
