One Security guard has been killed and another is in critical condition in a shooting incident near a popular mall in Umalzi south of Durban.
ALS Paramedics Medical Services arrived on the scene to find SAPS already on the scene.
A male security guard believed to be in his thirties was found to have sustained fatal gunshot wounds and there was nothing more Paramedics could do for him and he was declared deceased on the scene.
Another security officer, believed to be in his thirties sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was in a critical condition.
The man was stabilized on the scene by Advanced Life Support Paramedics before he was rushed to a nearby
Durban Hospital for the urgent treatment that he required.
At this stage the events leading up to the incident are unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further….
