Limpopo MEC for Transport and Community Safety, Florence Radzilani, has strongly condemned the shooting of 4 people, in what has been related as a possible act of taxi violence.
MEC Radzilani was responding to a shooting incident that took place in Zebediela, in the outskirts of Lebowakgomo, where 4 people were shot and killed.
According to reports, 2 taxi drivers, a passenger and a passerby were shot and killed, this morning, Wednesday 27 March 2024, at the Disco intersection, in Zebediela.
The MEC has condemned this incident, as a pure act of crime, and indicated that ‘it undermines the efforts by both Government and the taxi industry, of creating a peaceful and reliable public transport system for our people”.
She has commended the Police, for their timeous response to the crime scene, and has also directed them to leave no stone unturned, in their investigations.
