Around 11:30am this morning ALS Paramedics responded to a shooting incident that occurred at Dekota Beach in Isipingo South of Durban.
Paramedics arrived on the scene to find SAPS in attendance and were shown to a vehicle where they found a patient unresponsive with a fatal gunshot wound.
The female believed to be a Police Officer in her thirties showed no signs of life and was declared deceased on the scene by ALS Paramedics.
At this stage the events leading up to the shooting is unknown however SAPS will be investigating further….
