Members of KZNVIP are currently standing off at a shooting incident that has occurred in a residential complex in the Phoenix area, not too far from the Police station.
Reports from the scene indicated that two Indian males had been shot multiple times, KZN VIP medics are currently on the scene and unfortunately, the victim has declared deceased.
A second person also sustained multiple gunshots and was rushed privately to a medical facility for further medical attention, Multiple spent rifle cartridges have been found scattered across the roadway.
Circumstances leading up to this incident cannot be confirmed at this stage SAPS and all other emergency services are in attendance
We urge community members to please allow law enforcement to conduct themselves during these scenes as multiple people attempted videos, pics, kicked and moved cartridges etc.
