The multidisciplinary team were executing operational duties, when they stopped a suspected vehicle on Andrew Mapheto drive in Thembisa. The police officers searched the vehicle and found sassa cards. One of the suspect admitted to utilising the sassa cards for fraudulent criminal activities.
Suspects were arrested and detained at Thembisa Police Station.
