Reformation Society: Through the Heart of Darkness with Henry Morton Stanley
After his epic journey to find missionary Dr David Livingstone, Henry Morton Stanley became one of the greatest explorers of all time and one of the most effective campaigners against the slave trade. His 1874 to 1877 Trans Africa expedition down the Congo river was the most outstanding achievement against all odds and in the face of insurmountable obstacles, in all the history of the exploration of Africa. “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned and the flame shall not consume you.” Isaiah 43:2

For 32 years, we have been organising Biblical Worldview Summits to encourage, equip and empower Bible-believing Christians to understand the times and to know what God’s people should do (1 Chronicles 12:32). Light is more powerful than darkness. All the darkness cannot put out the smallest candle. Truth is more powerful than error and deception. Living as we do in a world of deception; it is vital that we know the truth and be committed to being truth-seekers and truth-tellers. Truth does not fear investigation. “Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world and not according to Christ.” Colossians 2:8
