Ian Cameron from Action Society says the murder and assault of a Centurion couple on the smallholding in Mnandi on Monday night, 27 February 2023, had hit him hard as they are close family friends.

CENTURION MAN MURDERED IN COLD BLOOD

The bloody body of 69-year-old Johan Muller was found facedown near his kitchen door. His 65-year-old wife, Kitty Muller, was found in her bedroom with her hands bound. She was stabbed and suffered severe damage to her lung and other organs.

Cameron, the family spokesperson, says that Johan has been hit on the head with a sharp object. He was also beaten numerous times with a blunt object in the face and the head.

SECOND MURDER AT THE CENTURION HOME

Ian Cameron says Johan died several meters from where his daughter Arina Muller was murdered in 2012 at the same centurion home. She was 29 years old. Arina was shot twice. Hours before her murder, suspects tried to overpower her parents and shot one of their dogs.

Cameron says it seems as if the couple had been sitting outside on the stoep having a cold drink when they were overpowered by suspects from behind.

“This is too much. This murder and attack hit me hard because they are close to me. There was so much blood,” says Cameron.

The South African Police are investigating the case.
