AS IF……..
The African National Congress (ANC) is demanding that former Eskom CEO Andre De Ruyter retract a series of scathing comments he made about the governing party, threatening to report him to the relevant authorities for failing to do so.
ANC Secretary-General Fikile Mbalula confirmed that the party had served De Ruyter with court papers, barely a week after he made explosive revelations in an interview on eNCA. De Ruyter essentially accused the ANC of being behind the continuing culture of rampant corruption at the power utility.

ANC VS ANDRE DE RUYTER
According to News24, the ANC has accused Andre De Ruyter of tarnishing its good name and reputation by making the bombshell claims of grand looting at Eskom. In a letter of demand, the ANC claims De Ruyter’s utterances directly imply that the party has stolen money from Eskom or received money from the embattled parastatal via corrupt and unethical means.“Our client contends that the utterances of Mr De Ruyter are false, defamatory, infringe on our client’s constitutional right to its good name and reputation, and cause its reputation to be impaired,” the letter is quoted as having read.
The ANC has dnied being involved in any corruption at Eskom, which is struggling to keep the lights on and more than R400 billion in debt.
The party spokesperson Mahlengi Bhengu-Motsiri said the ANC is firmly committed, to promoting and supporting policy, legislation, and action, to deal with any acts of corruption — or other forms of criminality — and to hold any perpetrators to account.
“We reiterate our call to De Ruyter to lay criminal charges, with verifiable details about his serious allegations, to allow law enforcement agencies to investigate, and where appropriate, to prosecute those who have a case to answer,” Bhengu-Motsiri further said.

Talk about denial! The ANC must go! We are all getting tired a thousand times over with their lies and corruption. The only people who do not think that the ANC is corrupt is the ANC. As the proverb says, when a wicked man rules the land groans! South Africa is groaning in pain and disgust! It’s the ANC’s blatant corruption that has given them the bad name, De Ruyter just brought it to the light, which the mainstream media are too biased to do themselves. The police, judicial and media systems in SA are captured, laying charges won’t be treated fairly anyway.
