A farm attack took place on Friday 3 March 2023, at 09:00, on a farm in Kroondal, near Rustenburg, in the Nort West province of South Africa.
A woman (53) was overpowered and assaulted by five attackers at her gate as she was leaving the property.
The five attackers pointed her with a firearm and forced her back into the vehicle. They then drove the vehicle back to the farm house where they ransacked the home.
The woman was then tied up and left in her vehicle and the attackers fled.
The woman was traumatised but not seriously inured.
Police are investigating but there have been no arrests.
Her husband, Frans Venter (68), was brutally murdered on Wednesday 21 September 2022, at about 10:00, on the farm Rocky Ridge which is between Buffelspoort dam and Kroondal in the Modderfontein area near Rustenburg.
Frans Venter was attacked and brutally assaulted and then hacked to death with pangas. The police report that at least four attackers were involved in the violent murder of the farmer.
