XTRA NOTE FROM VIKING BOER – OUR PRAYER TIME AND HOW WE SPEND IT
We tend to forget what the promises are that God gave us in His Word.
One of the most important aspects of our relationship with Jesus Christ besides studying His Word for me is our prayer time and how we spend it.
What do I say to God and how to say it is very important. The problem comes when we run out of anything to say to God and therefore one way is just to pray the scripture back to God and remind Him of all His promises to us, or just pray from the Psalms if you want to.
To be able to remind God of His promises is to know what His promises are so you can pray according to His will.
I made a list for myself to help me to remember what some of them are to keep my prayer life going. Whatever you pray, God is listening.
Hard to believe but oh so true because the Holy Spirit is stepping in for us all the time in our weaknesses.
Only the Holy Spirit knows the will of the Father.
Anyway, more about prayer later.
You can rely on the God of the Bible to come through for you.
In scripture, there are many promises, and a relationship with God makes you an heir to all of these promises.
It is free of charge and you only need to believe it.
