Dear Friends
Greetings in the precious Name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
From the Frontline: The Biblical Roots of the Coronation Ceremony and its Significance
You can tune in to the latest From the Frontline podcast on http://www.FrontlineMissionSA.org: https://fromthefrontline.podbean.com/e/from-the- frontline-episode-257-the- biblical-roots-of-coronation- ceremony-and-its-significance/ on 6 May Westminster Abbey in London will be the scene of a magnificent Coronation ceremony. What are the Biblical roots and historic origins of the various components of this traditional event? How are we as Christians to understand and respond to such events? What does the Bible teach about the Kingdom of God? As so much media attention goes into the Coronation, we should use these opportunities to direct people’s thoughts to the King of kings and Lord of lords who is coming again to judge the living and the dead. Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. There is a far greater King and a far greater Kingdom and a far greater Coronation ceremony coming than what our news media are focused on at this moment. “Then the Kingdom and dominion and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole Heaven, shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High. His Kingdom is an everlasting Kingdom and all dominions shall serve and obey Him.’” Daniel 7:27 Reformation Society: Celebrating the Life and Legacy of George Verwer Mission Mobiliser Extraordinary
The extraordinary life and legacy of missionary Mobiliser George Verwer, the Founder of Operation Mobilisation finished his race at 84 years old and entered eternity 14 April. As a friend of this mission and of our family, we have many great memories of this extraordinary servant of God. ‘Therefore, my beloved brothers be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord knowing that in the Lord your labour is not in vain’ 1 Corinthians 15:58

Reformation Society: The Coronation and The Kingdom of God
If you live in Cape Town, please join us at the Reformation Society this Thursday evening, 27 April, at 17:00 for a special Braai and Fellowship and at 19:00 for a presentation on the upcoming Coronation at Westminster Abbey in London, the Biblical and historic roots of the ceremony and where this fits in to the Kingdom of God. How are we to understand the times and respond to the controversies and conflicts surrounding the Coronation? How can we best use this opportunity to remind people of the far greater King, far greater Kingdom and far more important Coronation prophesied in the Bible? “Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a Kingdom, that all peoples, nations and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away and His Kingdom the one which shall not be destroyed.” Daniel 7:14. If you plan to join us for the Braai, please RSVP: 021 – 689 – 4480 or email mission@frontline.org.zaLivingstone Fellowship: Exploring The Apostles Creed part 2
