Reformation Society: Resisting the Woke War on the World
What can we learn from the recent backlash by consumers leading to catastrophic declines in income for Target, one of the largest chain stores in America which, after launching transgender clothing for children and even babies, in just one week, lost more than $9 Billion in corporate value on the stock exchange. Bud light which, after launching a very woke advert for their brand, is facing such a boycott from alienated customers, that they have been reduced to actually selling crates of their beer for free and are even still being rejected by consumers. Disney, once one of the most successful family entertainment producers has had to lay off more than 7500 workers since provoking a massive backlash against their woke policies and insertion of LGBTQ+ themes and radical political agenda in an increasingly failing series of films and events at their resorts. After employing a transgender man to model their women’s sportswear, Nike also discovered that those who go woke, go broke! Pres Vladimir Putin recently observed that Russia had already been there: the Bolshevik revolution of 1917 introduced cancel culture, destroying monuments, removing teachers, professors and pastors, renaming streets and buildings, as a preparation for political and cultural revolution

Reformation Society : 15 June 2023 Wanted: A Few Good Men!
I hate to break it to the Marine corps, but they didn’t originate that appeal. Some 2,000 years ago, the first real recruiter of our age, a man named Paul wrote a letter to his able assistant, a young lieutenant, if you will, named Timothy. Timothy was in Ephesus, trying to untangle a web of theological confusion while his mentor was composing and dictating his instructions from far off in Macedonia. And in what we have come to know as chapter three of his first letter to young Tim, you might well summarize the chapter with those five immortal words: Wanted: A Few Good Men. Today we desperately need good and brave men to stand against the forces of darkness.. will you answer that call? Mark your calendars and spread the word among your fellow men. Let us stand together, shoulder to shoulder, as we respond to the cry for a few good men who will make a difference in this generation.


International Author and Guest Speaker Kevin Swanson to visit Cape Town for Home Education Conference
Kevin Swanson of Generations will be visiting Cape Town to speak to the Reformation society Thursday 22^nd of June and to conduct a Home Education Conference Friday the 23^rd and Saturday the 24^th of June. Homeschooled himself in the 1960’s and 70’s, Kevin Swanson and his wife, Brenda, have homeschooled their five children since 1991. Kevin has 52 years of experience in the homeschooling movement and serves as the Director of Generations – a ministry he founded to strengthen homeschool families worldwide. For the last 19+ years Kevin has hosted a daily radio program – Generations Radio – the world’s largest homeschooling and Biblical worldview radio program that reaches families across the US and in over 100 countries.

Kevin has served as an elder in his local church for 22 years, while authoring several popular books for homeschoolers, including Upgrade-10 Secrets to the Best Education for Your Child, Family Life, The Story of Freedom, Epoch: The Rise and Fall of the West, Worldview — What We Believe, and What They Believe and Why They are Wrong, As the creator and developer of the Generations’ Christian Discipleship Curriculum, Kevin has also authored dozens of textbooks covering 1st through 12th grade. Help The Reformation Society promote Reformation and Revival throughout Africa.
Since 2006 the Reformation society has been conducting regular, every Thursday night, Reformation society meetings in Cape Town, holding Reformation seminars and conferences, promoting Reformation day services and events, including Reformation Art and Essay competitions, Reformation variety concerts and home education events. The Reformation society has published the Greatest Century of Reformation book (including an updated and expanded edition), Reforming our Families, the Power of Prayer Handbook, Reformation 500 hymnbook and the Reformation 500 Coalition on Revival FIRE Manual donating thousands of these books to Bible colleges, Missions, ministries and Christian universities.
The Reformation Society also published the 95 Theses for Reformation Today, translated into German, French, Dutch and Afrikaans and launched the Reformation 500 Back to the Bible movement, which led to Reformation 500 events in Zambia, United States of America, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany, culminating in Wittenberg October 2017. In the lead up to the Zwingli 500, marking the initiation of expository preaching (1st January 1519) we preached through every book of the Bible, publishing a series of the Bible in a nutshell in a popular local Christian magazine in South Africa and publishing the Old Testament Survey and New Testament Survey books. We also held Biblical Preaching Workshops and helped publish the Biblical Preaching Handbook. Our Reformation500 facebook page has also received a wide reach and many engagements as we promote Reformation doctrines and history and work for a fresh back to the Bible Reformation in churches, communities and throughout the continent of Africa.
