ON THIS DAY in MISSIONARY HISTORY
25 June 1765 – Samuel Marsden, was born at Farsley, Yorkshire, England. He became a prominent Church Missionary Society Missionary ministering to Australia and New Zealand.
25 June 1865 – Hudson Taylor, at Brighton, England, dedicated himself to God for the founding of the new China Inland Mission, which, before the end of the 19th century, became the largest Protestant Missionary Society on earth.
