THE FIRE STARTED ON THURSDAY EVENING
This eatery was the brainchild of Edward and Elmien Turner, and it derives its name from a shelter built from a bush called Muisbos.
On Friday, videos and photos of the devastation caused by the fire were shared on social media.
It is not yet known what started the fire.

Visitors expressed their shock on Friday and said Muisbos was known for its daily buffet of fish caught from the sea prepared for visitors.
The food is prepared in front of guests while they tuck into homemade bread.
From the traditional waterblommetjie and hotnotskool bredie to fresh homemade potato yeast bread straight from the clay oven, the three-hour buffet doesn’t disappoint.
