The Department of Correctional Services (DCS) said a DANGEROUS inmate has ESCAPED from the Rustenburg Correctional Centre.

DANGEROUS INMATE ESCAPED FROM RUSTENBURG CORRECTIONAL CENTRE

A manhunt has been launched for the dangerous inmate.

“The escaped inmate, Pule Vitals Mahanetsa, is a 22-year-old Lesotho National serving three months for immigration.”

THE INMATE ESCAPED ON FRIDAY

He escaped on Friday, 11 August 2023.

The DCS said investigations into the escape incident have been instituted, and the circumstances relating to the escape will be revealed once the investigation has been concluded.
