    In more than forty cities throughout Iran, citizens are calling for regime change with cries like “death to the dictator” and “our enemy is not America.”
    Thousands also blamed the government after a building collapsed in Tehran killing dozens. It’s become a symbol of the failure of the regime.
    And as it has in the past, the government has sent out its security forces to brutally suppress the protests.

    Sparked by high food prices, protests in Iran are turning political as angry citizens express their rage at the government and religious leaders. Crowds in several cities and towns have taken up the chant, “Death to Khamenei” – referring to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

    The unrest reveals deep, widespread anger at the unfeeling and brutal regime, according to a manager with a Christian ministry in Iran that counsels and prays with Iranians by phone and social media.

    Teenagers and in particular teenage girls defying Iran’s repressive theocracy. Their daring is contagious:
    Week Three of the movement’s seen fewer mass demonstrations than during the initial outrage over the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini.
    Instead, more targeted acts of protests even strikes.
