The Provincial Police Management in Mpumalanga has strongly condemned the senseless killing of a woman estimated to be between 20 and 35 years who was found dumped next to a farm in Trichardt.

Police received information from the farmer who reported that a body of an unknown woman was lying next to Langsloot farm, Zwaksfontein yesterday Sunday 08 October 2023 at about 08:00.

Police and medical practitioners attended the call and the motionless body of woman who was wearing a pair of blue jeans and a floral blouse was found.

The victim sustained some multiple head, stomach and hands injuries.

The blood around her body was already dry, suggesting that the victim might have been dumped there for some time.

The woman is light in complexion and about 1,4 metres tall.

A few metres away from where the victim’s body was lying, a pair of shoes, softdrink and blood were found.

Thorough investigation will be conducted on the recovered items.

The victim was certified dead on the scene by medical practitioners.

A murder case was registered at Trichardt SAPS.
