SAPS Members in collaboration with officials from Ekurhuleni and Mpumalanga, Department of Home Affairs, Gauteng Provincial Traffic, Mpumalanga Traffic, EMPD, National Traffic Police, Mpumalanga Road Safety Education and Crime Prevention Wardens conducted a roadblock along the N12 Road this morning in order to check for the roadworthiness of the vehicles, dangerous weapons, stolen vehicles, stolen property, drugs and other illegal substances.
Members are expecting the Mpumalanga MEC for Transport and Community safety to address them.
The parade was addressed by the Deputy District Commissioner Brigadier Lebohang Machakela and Mpumalanga Control transport Inspector Lucas Mashiloane.
