Leon Schuster, the beloved comedian, is currently in a hospital in Gauteng and enduring a lot of pain.
LEON SCHUSTER HAD ANOTHER HEALTH SETBACK
According to reports, he was operated on again on Tuesday after he recently had a setback after a back operation.
It’s not going well. He asks that people pray for him.
‘PLEASE PRAY FOR ME’
Leon was in good spirits just a few days ago.
The 72-year-old comedian was in high spirits during a video message to his fans.
“I am lying here in my hospital bed and I feel good today,” he said, urging rugby fans to stand behind the national team, and leave politics behind, because “all that matters now is the winning factor.”
In August, Leon released his version of a Bok anthem called Bokmasjien, a ditty along the same lines as his evergreen Hier Kom Die Bokke.

While he still had a lot of pain after a serious back operation in August, he was on the road to recovery.
Leon had to have a back operation. He injured himself on the set of his new movie and had been recovering well until he had a fall.
The actor took to Facebook to inform his followers that he is back home and doing well.
HE UNDERWENT A SERIOUS BACK OPERATION IN AUGUST
“Just want to say thank you again for your heartfelt support!” he wrote on Facebook.
Leon said he stayed in the hospital for weeks.
“I’ve been discharged and back home after three weeks! What a blissful feeling!”
he wrote.
Best known for his pranks in the You Must Be Joking film series, Leon has never been afraid to shy away from politically or culturally sensitive issues.
In Oh Shucks, Here Comes UNTAG he took the mickey out of the United Nations peacekeeping force during Namibia’s transition from South West Africa, a protectorate of the apartheid government, to an independent nation.
