A 56-year-old male suspect was arrested by the members of SAPS Organised Crime Unit on Friday, 03 November 2023, for possession of drugs.
Police received information about the suspect who was in possession of drugs while travelling from Gauteng province, Pretoria after he purchased them with the intention to distribute in Limpopo province.
Police reacted swiftly, started tracing the suspect and spotted him between Mckenzie and Radium R101 public road. The suspect was found in possession of loose sachets containing heroin drugs with an estimated street value of R12 000 and was arrested on the spot.
The suspect will appear in Bela-Bela Magistrate’s Court soon.
Police investigations are continuing.
