Israeli forces on the outskirts of Gaza City and rescue captured soldier

The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ruled out any ceasefire in Gaza – declaring it was a “time for war… for our common future”.
As the heavy bombardment continues, the Hamas-appointed Gaza Health Ministry said more than 8,300 Palestinians have now been killed.According to Palestinian witnesses – Israeli tanks reached the outskirts of Gaza City – entering the Zaytun district. Reports suggest the IDF took control of Salah al-Din Road, a major route linking the north and south.
To the north, intense fighting has been reported between Israeli forces and Hamas near the Mediterranean coast.
