Kraaifontein’s family violence, child protection and sexual offenses are asking for the public’s help to detect the person depicted in the facial composition.

The person of interest can help investigate a case that includes rape, kidnapping and attempted murder.

A preliminary investigation indicates that the victim drove to Bloekombos by taxi on September 30, 2023. On the way, the driver drove in the direction of Bottelary Road where he allegedly assaulted, raped and left the victim in the bushes.

The victim later managed to walk to a nearby restaurant where the staff assisted her with transport to the Kraaifontein police station.
