In an effort to fight property related crimes in the Gauteng Province, a crime intelligence led team conducted an operation on 28 February 2024 and arrested three suspects.
The suspects were arrested in Pretoria West while driving a stolen vehicle with fitted false registration numbers. The police further found house breaking implements and gloves inside the vehicle.
The Acting Provincial Commissioner of police in Gauteng, Major General Tommy Mthombeni, has applauded the team comprising of SAPS Serious and Violent Crime Unit, Saturation Unit from Gauteng Traffic Police and private security companies for their concerted effort in dealing with crime.
The suspects are expected to appear before court soon.
